Well, they’re not really new, about 3 years old in fact. But these Kenya safari photos are new on this site, Just uploaded them. Pulled a bit of a ‘Klavs Bo’ on some of them – they looked a bit ‘flat’. (Klavs Bo being the Danish PJ who was recently disqualified from the DK-PoY competition for using too much (?) photoshop and digital effects, big discussion here).

Well, hope I didn’t overdo it! The shot of the two fighting elephants here got a bit of a darker sky above and this lioness got her eyes highlighted a bit. I agreed with the jury on the Klavs Bo verdict, but think I restrained myself from approaching forgery. Hope I did!

So yeah, I’ve now started to look at my, quite significant, backlog of photos. Want to get them online and out there. So you can expect more in the days, weeks to come. It seems to be the best thing to be doing for now, with Julie, our new daughter, taking up so much time, sleep and attention. I’m anxious to start working on some new projects, but whole days of shooting seems pretty far away these days. But this I can manage. An hour on the laptop now and then, with a half eye on Julie.

Oh dear, hope my shutter button doesn’t get stuck…
