Now based in Denmark

Photograph of one of Bornholm’s closed shops. It’s very seasonal here, wintertime being totally off-season. I’ll try to continue doing work as photographer here on Bornholm (Denmark) from now on.
A week ago I arrived back in my birth country, Denmark, and I’ll now try to focus my documentary photographer’s eye on my own country for a while. I’m based on the small island of Bornholm, located in the Baltic Sea between mainland Denmark, South Sweden and Poland. It’s quite remote and only home to some 44,000 people, but just half an hours flight from Copenhagen and about 1 hour by speed-ferry from South Sweden. So anyone needing a photographer in South Sweden or Copenhagen, give me a call!
It’ll be interesting to see how much work I can dig up as a freelance photographer here on Bornholm. Don’t have any real contacts yet, but I’ll just have to work on that. There’s probably more businesses here than in the entire Nepal where I’ve spent the last 5 years. I’ve got loads of ideas anyway, for personal and other projects, and I love the people and the area here! Think it’ll be a blast.
